Based on multiple reports, iPhone Air 2 could be due to debut in early 2027 and it’s said to include real improvements while still keeping that slim look that kinda defines the Air series.

A few sources claim Apple wants to unveil the iPhone Air 2 around the same time as its spring hardware refresh likely in early 2027. Current reports point to early 2027, placing the second-generation release around the Australian autumn window.
Gurman expects the phone to arrive alongside the standard iPhone 18, while analyst Jeff Pu has reportedly placed it in the first quarter of 2027. According to MacRumors’ account of Pu’s supply-chain note, the device could be part of Apple’s first major release under a new twice-yearly iPhone schedule.

Current rumours indicate Apple is unlikely to make significant pricing changes.

Dual Rear Cameras
The biggest anticipated upgrade is kinda, a move from one rear camera to a dual-camera system reportedly with an extra 48MP sensor. That should really change how zoom works and make the whole photography setup more flexible in a way that feels noticeable.
