Seems like 2019 is going to be all about star kid launches. Aryan Khan, who is one of the famous star kids, is all set to make his Bollywood debut as an assistant director. We had previously reported that he would be assisting Karan Johar for his upcoming directorial Takht.
Karan has always said that he will launch King Khan’s kids. In this way, Karan Johar’s Takht will help him to find a footing in Bollywood. This kind of cement the fact that all is well between the race director and the superstar. A couple of weeks back, Karan Johar was trolled by Shah Rukh Khan fans for liking a tweet that abused SRK. But all seems to be fine as this piece of news has made it to the headlines.
Shah Rukh Khan has often said that he would support his kids Aryan and Suhana if they foray into the movie business. SRK in a recent interview had revealed that Aryan is more interested in film-making. “Aryan is studying to be a film-maker and a writer, while Suhana wants to be an actor. But even if he wants to be a film-maker, he needs to study for another five to six years and not just the literal form of studying, but probably be an assistant to Karan after he finishes his film-making course,” Shah Rukh had told Hindustan Times. Talking about the star kid, he is yet to make his Bollywood debut, but he already has a super huge fanbase on social media. He keeps his fan following updated with new pictures from his holidays on social media. Aryan has studied film-making at the University of Southern California.
Takht is a multi-starrer action-drama set in the Mughal era. The movie boasts of a star-studded ensemble cast which includes Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the pivotal roles. The screenplay is done by Sumit Roy and will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar & Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. The movie will hit the screens next year.
