Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday slammed Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. Owaisi said, “Pakistan Prime Minister talked about Tipu Sultan & Bahadur Shah Zafar in his assembly, Sultan wasn’t an enemy of Hindus but opposed the enemies of his Sultanate.” Owaisi further added that Imran Khan talks about atom bomb, we’ve that too and advised him that he should handle Lashkar-e-Shaitaan & Jaish-e-Shaitaan.
Taking a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party, Owaisi said, “You question my nationalism because of my Muslim identity. BJP says ‘mera booth sabse mazboot’ But I say ‘meri sarhad mazboot to mera desh mazboot(If my borders are secured, my nation is secured)”.
Earlier, Owaisi hailed the Indian Air Force strikes over terror camps in Pakistan, saying India has the right to self-defence.“We welcome this. It’s a right step. We stand by the government,” the Hyderabad MP had told reporters. “If a country is not able to stop non-state actors, then another country which is the target of terrorist violence has the right to act in self-defence,” he had said.
