Taiwanese technology company ASUS on Wednesday launched its third-generation gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 3 in India. The new gaming phone starts at Rs 49,999 and will go on sale on August 6. The phone is exclusive to Flipkart in India.
The phone has a 6.59 inch full HD display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor along with Adreno 650 GPU and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone also comes with AirTrigger 3 ultrasonic buttons and includes dual, front-firing speakers.
The new device comes with a quad-camera setup at the back that includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens. The camera setup also has a 13MP secondary sensor with a 125-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP tertiary sensor with an f/2.0 macro lens. The ASUS ROG Phone 3, which has 8K recording, 4K HDR recording up to 60fps, besides a Pro Video mode that lets you record up to 8K.
Another amazing specification of the smartphone is a 6000mAh battery. The battery should easily last more than a day depending upon the usage. The phone also comes bundled with a 30W fast charger (Quick Charge 4.0 supported).
The new ROG Phone 3 is 5G capable phone making it future proof, along with support for dual-SIM.

The company has also launched a ROG Clip that lets you connect the phone to a PlayStation 4, Xbox, or Stadia controller at a price tag of Rs. 1,999. The ROG Cetra Headset was launched at Rs. 7,699, the ROG Cetra Core at Rs. 3,999, and the AeroActive Cooler 3 at Rs. 2,999.
