Just when you thought that humanity is dead, this autorickshaw driver in Tamil Nadu is giving free rides to kids and pregnant women! This local superhero of Tamil Nadu city, Karuppusamy, a 25-year-old guy refuses to take money from pregnant women and schoolchildren for the rides he offers.
This act of Karuppusamy’s generosity and selflessness has got a lot of attention on social media. Apart from helping others, Karuppusamy is also passionate towards studies. Though he comes from an economically backward family, he completed his education overcoming all odds that came his way. He even went on to do a post-graduate degree in Tamil literature, with the help of a government scholarship.
As per reports, after completing his master’s course, Karuppusamy still wants to continue his studies and get an MPhil degree. Under the obligation to support his family, he was forced to take up driving an auto-rickshaw. With a little help from his family and friends, he bought a second-hand autorickshaw to raise money to fund his dream. Even though he is financially unsound, that doesn’t affect his kindness towards the society. He continues to offer free rides.
