Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal wins big at the 66th National Film Awards by bagging Best Actors for Andhadhun and Uri: The Surgical Strike respectively

Ayushmann Khurrana & Vicky Kaushal bags 'best actor' at 66th National Awards

The 66th National Film awards were announced by Rahul Rawail who is the head of the Jury for feature films, on Friday.

Awards are given in 31 categories in the feature film category. An Award for the film-friendly state has been instituted this year and it was bagged by Uttarakhand this year.

Hindi cinema’s uprising stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal wins big at the 66th National Film Awards by bagging Best Actors for Andhadhun and Uri: The Surgical Strike respectively.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Badhaai Ho’ also bagged Best popular film award along with Surekha Sikri winning best-supporting actress award for Badhaai Ho. Andhadun also bagged the best film for the regional category in the National Awards.

On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal’s URI went on bagging awards for Best Director and Best Sound Design category.

Apart from it, Keerthy Suresh bagged the best actress for Mahanati and best-supporting actor is given to Swanand Kirkire for Cumbhak.
