Baba Ramdev seems to be on the roll. After being India’s top followed Yoga guru, Baba Ramdev will be now seen judging a singing reality show, titled Om Shanti Om, on Life OK. You read that right, Baba Ramdev, who often appeared on reality shows like Nach Baliye and India’s Best Dramebaaz as a guest, will now be present as judge reportedly along with actress Sonakshi Sinha.
It is true that Ramdev never fails to surprise his audience. However, his escalation from a Yoga Guru to a steady businessman to a singing show judge was really quick! According to NDTV reports, actor Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi and Ramdev are shooting for the first episode today. The show will focus on bhajans, with contestants modifying and modernizing existing bhajans. Singer Kanika Kapoor and composer Shekhar Ravjiani are reportedly the other judges of the show.
This is not the first time Sonakshi and Baba Ramdev have been seen sharing the screen. Baba Ramdev made a guest appearance on the recently concluded Nach Baliye 8 and taught Sonakshi and other judges a few yoga asanas. The Noor actress, who sung Rajj Rajj Ke in Akira, is shooting with Baba Ramdev and her Lootera co-star Ranveer Singh, for the first episode of Om Shanti Om, reported Mid-day.
