Nepal parliament on Saturday cleared a constitutional amendment bill that reflected its new map in the national emblem. The new map passed by Nepal’s House of Representatives shows areas of Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura in Uttarakhand as Nepalese territory.

Responding to the development, external affairs ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said, “ We have noted that the House of Representatives of Nepal has passed a constitution amendment bill for changing the map of Nepal to include parts of Indian territory. We have already made our position clear on this matter.”

After the news passed out, India began to trend hashtag #BoycottPatanjali and highlighted Baba Ramdev and his associate Balkrishna in the news.

The reason behind this trend is Patanjali’s  CEO Acharya Balkrishna. In 2011, Balkrishna had faced a CBI probe for fake nationality in his passport. It was alleged that Balkrishna hailed from Nepal. Both Ramadev and Balkrishna, back then, had denied the allegations. Under CBI scrutiny, the Uttrakhand High Court only allowed Balkrishna’s confidant to to visit Nepal in 2016 for just seven days.

The netizens on Sunday trended #BoycottPatanjali on Twitter. Here are reactions of netizens:
