The versatile actor and the National crush tried his hands in a horror film and has initiated a decent start as it bagged a box office collection of Rs 5.10 Crore on its day 1 of the release. Vicky Kaushal was starred in films like Masaan and Uri and he has now come up with a different role in Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.
Friday being a holiday on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the film has minted a decent amount. Though Vicky Kaushal starter has not received good reviews from the film critics and they have given him the rating of 1 star. As critics are calling it the film filled with loopholes.
Bhoot is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. The film is produced by Karan Johar. This is the first time Vicky has starred in a horror flick. Bhoot has released in theatres alongside Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The film is facing major competition from the Ayushmann film. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has crossed the expectations and has minted the amount of Rs 9.50 Crore on its first day and has set the benchmark for Bhoot.
