Bhopal Power Cut November 2: Electricity supply will be affected in some areas of Bhopal on Monday, November 2, owing to departmental work. New Market, Kamla Nagar, Pushpa Nagar, Transport Nagar, Diamond City, Indra Nagar and other localities will be affected in the city.
As per the released schedule, power cuts will occur in different time intervals from 10 am to 5 pm as per the locality. Citizens may plan household work, business and other such operations accordingly.

10 AM to 12 PM
Affected areas: Tin Shed, Ram Mandir, Kamla Nehru School, Apex Bank, 74 Bungalows, Chhappan Bhog, Venus Scan, ICH, New Market and surrounding areas.
10 AM to 2 PM
Affected areas: Mahadev Tower and nearby localities; Marghat, Gadi Masjid, Munabbar Dairy, Jhanda Chowk, Dairy Farm, IPC College, Sewage Pump, Khanugaon Chouraha, Shri Nadi, Bagh-e-Bahar Shadi Hall and Kinara Apartment.
10 AM to 4 PM
Affected areas: Lalwani Farm House, Transport Nagar, Anantpura, Kokta and nearby areas.
Other affected localities:
- PMAY Multi, Diamond City, Kasturi Courtyard and Rajdhani Parisar.
- Pushpa Nagar, LIG Quarters, Kabristan, 80 Feet Road, Rest House, MPEB Office, Garam Gaddha Road, Nagar Nigam Office, Kammu Ka Bagh, Mahamai Ka Bagh and nearby areas.

Affected areas: Deepak Warehouse, Shubham Warehouse, HT Connection Aakriti Aqua City, Ambika Grih Nirman Samiti, MG Hector Showroom, 11 Mile Tiraha, Nandi Chouraha, Gunj Nagar, Sahara Colony, Radhakrishna Residency, Bheropur and SCADA Showroom, along with surrounding areas.

Affected areas: Peer Badli, Sai Residency and nearby localities.
11 AM to 5 PM
Affected areas: Harijan Colony, Indra Nagar, Behta Gaon, Sadhu Vasvani College, H-Ward, Community Hall, G-Ward, F-Ward, MPEB Campus, Arogya Kendra and surrounding areas.
2:30 PM to 5 PM
Affected areas: 1100 Government Quarters, Banskhedi, JJ Jenam Shree Hospital, PC Sharma Quarters, Baghira Apartment and nearby areas.

Why Will Power Supply Be Disrupted in Bhopal?
These outages are scheduled for departmental work. The electricity supply can be interrupted in these areas to enable the actual work to take place.
The advertised notice fails to identify in detail the technical work to be undertaken at each location. Residents should therefore not assume that every shutdown will be associated with the same type of works.
How Residents Can Prepare for the Power Cut?
- Make sure you have fully charged your mobile phones, laptops, power banks and other devices before you leave.
- Have drinking water stored and make sure water pumps are ready, especially in buildings which require electric motors.
- Schedule activities with lifts, computers and other necessary electrical appliances to get planned outage.
- Shops, clinics and small businesses dependent on a stable power supply should make their own arrangements.
Actual time to restore will depend on the work being conducted.
Will Electricity Return at the Scheduled Time?
Power supply will be back on after the maintenance work but consider the timings as the hours of shutdown, the return of power supply is not assured on the exact minute.
