The stage is set for the grand unveiling of India’s most controversial reality show Big Boss 12. Bollywood ace superstar and host of the show Salman Khan shot for the premiere episode last night in Lonavala with all the 18 contestants who will be locked for the next 100 days. This year, like the previous two seasons, has a mix of common man and celebrities who will be surviving the tough tasks in the locked house sans any luxuries. The unique thing this season is the concept of jodis for the first time. While most of the celebrities are entering solo, the commoners are entering in pairs. So lovebirds, cop, lawyer, sisters and farmer will be entering the house as contestants.
Here is the official list of inmates of Bigg Boss 12 house who will be entering the show in the premiere episode.
Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa
Bharti and Harsh were officially introduced as the contestants by the makers at the press conference of Bigg Boss 12, which took place in Goa couple of weeks back.
Dipika Kakkar
TV actress Dipika Kakkar, who shot to fame by essaying the role of Simar in Colors’ popular show, Sasural Simar Ka is entering the house solo. There were rumours that her husband and TV actor Shoaib Ibrahim will tag along with her, but that’s not happening.
S Sreesanth
Former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is also one of the celebrity contestants of Bigg Boss 12.
Srishty Rode and Manish Naggdev
TV actors Srishty Rode and Manish Nagdev is another couple to set foot inside the Bigg Boss house this year. Srishty was last seen in Star Plus’ show, Ishqbaaz, in which she played the role of Faiza. Her partner Manish Naggdev started his TV career in 2007 with the show, Banoo Main Teri Dulhan. He was last seen in the show, Begusurai as Adarsh Thakur.
Neha Pendse
Neha started her career in 1995 with the show, Captain House on DD Metro. She made her film debut in 1999 with the movie, Pyaar Koi Khel Nahi. She was last seen on Colors’ comedy show, Entertainment Ki Raat.
Anup Jalota
Singer Anup Jalota, who is famous for singing Hindu devotional songs is also entering the Bigg Boss house. He confirmed his entry a few days back and said he will be diplomatic in the house, just like Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shiny Doshi
Shiny Doshi started her television career in 2013 with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali popular show Saraswatichandra as Kusum. She was last seen in the show, Dil Hi Toh Hai. She was also one of the contestants on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Karanvir Bohra
Although Karanvir Bohra has denied entering the house, he was spotted on the sets of Bigg Boss 12 in Lonavala, which means that he is going to enter the house as one of the celebrity contestants.
As far as the commoners are concerned, the makers have officially introduced two jodis so far:
Nirmal Singh and Romil Chaudhary
Nirmal, a copy and Romil, a lawyer will enter the house together.
Deepak Thakur and his fan
Gangs Of Wasseypur singer Deepak Thakur is entering the Bigg Boss house with his fan.
