Bigg Boss 14: After Shehzad Deol uses 'Derogatory' term, Rubina Dilaik stands up for transgender community

In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 14, the contestants continue their ‘Farm’ task, and during this task, Shehzad Deol and Nishant Singh Malkhani engaged in a verbal spat, they even pushed each other, and Eijaz Khan, Rahul Vaidya had to intervene to stop them.

Nishant Singh Malkhani kept telling Shehzad, “Aa maar mujhe” and the latter would get provoked. The fight took place after Shehzad raised his voice against Nikki Tamboli, who abused him and Jasmin Bhasin.

As the argument aggravated, Shehzad called Nishant ‘hijra’ and made hand gestures of clapping. The words were muted by the channel. After this episode, they all went inside the house, and Shehzad accused Nishant of using the same words for him.

Nishant denied the accusation, and Rubina Dilaik said that ‘hijra’ and ‘chhaka’ words are not bad words.

Rubina Dilaik, who played the role of a eunuch in the show, Shakti – Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki, asked Shehzad to apologise to Nishant and the entire hijra community.

Shehzad obliged and sought forgiveness from the entire community, and said that he didn’t intend to hurt them in any manner.

For the uninitiated, in season Bigg boss 13, Madhurima Tuli, too, called Vishal Aditya Singh a ‘hijra,’ and she faced major backlash for it. She was also reprimanded by Bigg Boss and Kamya Panjabi.
