Before coming into the limelight, Rahul Vaidya would do many musical shows as a child talent. He learned music and pursued his career in this stream.
Rahul Vaidya is a known face in the singing arena and rose to popularity as his chocolate boy image from the singing-based reality show, Indian Idol 1. Even though the show was won by Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul continued to spread his charm through his onscreen presence and charismatic skills.

After Indian Idol, Rahul Vaidya crooned a song, ‘Tera Intezaar’ (2005), which was appreciated massively by his fans. He also gave his voice to the title track of the show, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si.
After Indian Idol, Rahul participated in another reality show, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar on a different channel, and lifted its trophy as the winner.
Rahul was also seen in music Ka Maha Muqqabla, and emerged as the strongest contenders. He rendered his voice for a few Bollywood films too, namely, Bhaag Johnny, Krazzy 4. However, it was his unplugged version of the song, ‘Be Intehaan’ from the film Race that made him a star.
Later, television actors Karan Kundrra and Ruhi Singh featured in one of Rahul Vaidya’s music album. He has done several live concerts in India and internationally, and has also co-hosted a TV dance show, Aaja Maahi Vay.
It was in 2017, that Rahul’s name was linked with veteran singer Alka Yagnik’s daughter, Syesha Kapoor. Currently, speculations are rife that Rahul is in a relationship with television actress, Disha Parmar.
