Bihar elections 2020: Recently, RJD took to social media and accused BJP that the saffron party after accepting its defeat in Bihar assembly elections is distributing cash for votes. According to RDJ, BJP is openly distributing cash.

In the video shared by RJD in Bihar on its official Twitter handle, a person can be seen distributing money to people who’ve gathered. ‘This is Bihar, sir. You cannot buy Biharis,’ said RJD in a tweet adding that the BJP after accepting defeat is now openly distributing money. Take a look at the video here:

Last month, police recovered Rs 74 lakh from the car of an RJD leader in Patna, after which Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that the cash was meant for buying an election ticket. As per the media report, the cash was seized from the car of RJD leader.

While the driver of the car acknowledged that the car belonged to Singh, but the RJD leader was not present in the vehicle when the cash was seized. The BJP has been attacking the grand alliance over ‘jungle raj’ and corruption.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the people of Bihar prefer “sushashan ki rajneeti” (politics of good governance), adding that only the NDA can provide security, employment and new opportunities of self-employment to the youth of the state.

He further said that the youth and women of the state have always been with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and they see hope in the alliance.

In a series of tweets in Hindi, the PM said he had the opportunity to meet his “brothers and sisters” of Bihar and seek their blessings during election rallies in the state over the past few days.

Meanwhile, the voting percentage in the second phase of polling on 94 seats in the Bihar assembly elections increased to 55.70 after the data was updated by the Election Commission.
