In a shocking report coming in from Bihar, two Home Guards were found dead at the dense forest of Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve under Gobarhiyadon police station area in West Champaran district today.

According to the reports, the home guard personnel along with the forest department team went to the forest to seize the wood. During this time the smugglers attacked the jawans.

Police said here that wood smugglers killed both Home Guards by slitting open their throats. The two guards who died in the attack by wood smugglers are named Arjuna Yadav and Hiralal Kushwaha.

Bagha police superintendent Arvind Kumar Gupta along with officers of the forest department is camping at the spot. The investigation in underway to find the ones who killed the home guards.

The area in which the incident happened is considered quite fragile and there is the domination of smugglers in the area.
