Bihar’s politics is a hotbed of bitter remark exchange which has been proved again as leaders of Mahagathbandhan Tejashwi Yadav and Upendra Kushwaha are fuming over the use of foul language by CM Nitish Kumar.

In Mahagathbandhan’s meeting at the residence of Tejashwi Yadav, leaders have alleged foul language used by Nitish Kumar which was aimed at ‘Son of Mallah’ Mukesh Sahni, a Bollywood set designer-turned-politician who a few months back floated Vikasheel Insaf Party (VIP) and had joined the Mahagathbandhan last month.

The meeting was attended by AICC in-charge for Bihar Shaktisinh Gohil, Bihar Congress Chief Madan Mohan Jha, former Chief Minister and Hindustan Awam Morcha president Jitan Ram Manjhi and Arjun Rai of the Loktantrik Janata Dal founded by Sharad Yadav.

The Chief Minister had mocked at the grand alliance saying it was picking up people from the roadside (sadak par se logon ko utha k shaamil kar lete hain).

Tejashwi Yadav said, Nitish Kumar’s language in midst of political battle is unacceptable and such a language on VIP chief has come just because he comes from a backward community and with poor background. He referred back to use of word “Neech” by Nitish Kumar which was against Upendra Kushwaha when Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) was part of Bihar National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He insisted an unconditional apology from CM Nitish.

Whereas Upendra Kushwaha said- Kumar had first called me neech (lowly). Now he is calling our alliance partner ‘sadak chhap’. He must apologize. We strongly protest. The RLSP chief was referring to a controversy that had erupted when he was in the NDA fold and Nitish Kumar, had taunted bahas ka star neeche mat giraiye.

Kushwaha declared a statewide protest by burning effigy of Nitish Kumar. All leaders of the grand alliance are expected to join the protest.

Tejashwi Yadav blames Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for spreading rumours of rift within family

He further added that leaders of Mahagathbandhan on 10th January will march towards Raj Bhavan and will submit a letter to the Governor.

Former CM and HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi also sought an apology from sitting Chief Minister for his remark on Mahagathbandhan.

State president of Vikasheel Insaf Party (VIP) Ashok Chouhan said, the backward section of society is hurt by foul language of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
