Repudiating all the news reported about the differences with his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav alleged that the rumours of the rift within his family are spread on the directions of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to demoralise party cadres and supporters.

“All these reports of a rift within our family are planted at the instance of Nitish Kumar. Attempts are being made to psychologically affect our dedicated workers and supporters,” said Tejashwi Yadav while talking to reporters in Patna.

Upendra Kushwaha

Replying to a question about Union Minister and RLSP Chief Upendra Kushwaha‘s possibility of joining RJD camp before upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019, the opposition leader of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav replied, “We had invited him long back and the invitation stands. But it is for him to take the decision.”

Pappu Yadav

On being asked about Pappu Yadav, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav replied, “For him, it is no entry period.” Pappu Yadav had won the Madhepura seat in 2014 Lok Sabha polls on RJD ticket but was expelled later by RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav from the party. Following this, he had constituted his own party called Jan Adhikar Party. His wife Ranjeet Ranjan is a Congress MP.

Shatrughan Sinha

Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Member of Parliament Shatrughan Sinha has reportedly been admiring RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav and was also seen attending a function called at RJD leader’s place. When asked about Shatrughan Sinha, Tejashwi Yadav said, “There are no talks with him. There cannot be any until and unless the BJP takes a clear decision about him.”

Tejashwi Yadav also talked to media about the family facing frequent grilling and raids by investigating agencies, besides reports that his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav and eldest sister Misa Yadav were annoyed over politically overshadowed by him.

Tejashwi also came down heavily on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and accused him of failing to effectively maintain law and order in Bihar. Implementation of the Bihar government’s own welfare schemes is also not made possible and he (Tejashwi) would undertake the issue on his next phase of public awareness campaign after Dussehra.
