Patna: A man drowned while taking a bath in the River Ganga. The incident happened at Anta Ghat under Pirbahor police station area. NDRF team, which reached the spot, has launched a search.
A man was beaten to death by criminals near Rampur-Premtola village under Maner police station area of Patna. The body of the deceased was thrown out of the village by the criminals and fled. Acting on a tip-off, the police recovered the body and sent it to the sub-divisional hospital Danapur for post-mortem.

The Bihar Education Department has started preparations for the appointment of 32,000 teachers in high schools and plus two. The appointment letter will be given to the selected candidates by July 30. They have to join the job in 21 days.
