Raising a serious concern over the law and order situation in Bihar Under Secretary of Planning department Rajiv Kumar shot in the state capital on Tuesday morning. He was shot by criminals at his residence. After being gunned down, he was rushed to a hospital in Patna where he was declared dead during the treatment.
This opens windows to a lot of questions over the Bihar government. The criminals are said to have broken into Rajiv’s house with an intention to burglary. According to the deceased’s wife, three burglar made their ways into house today morning and locked the whole family into one room at the gun point. Then they looted jewelry and money from the house. Before leaving, one of them shot Rajiv.
Police is investigating the whole matter and trying to find if there is any other reason behind the murder other than just burglary.
