Bihar Police Inspector Recruitment 2023: During a press conference held on Monday, September 18 at the Police Headquarters in Patna, Jitendra Singh Gangwar, the Additional Directorate General of Police at Headquarters, disclosed that the Bihar Government’s Home Department has approved the Bihar Police Inspector recruitment roster. In the coming days, the Bihar government will issue a recruitment notice for multiple Police Inspector positions through the service commission, he added.

Jitendra Singh Gangwar, ADG of the Bihar Police Headquarters, has confirmed that the manifest for filling 1,288 vacant Inspector positions has been approved. 13 percent of these positions, or five vacancies, will be filled through the sports quota. The remaining 1,275 positions will be filled through direct recruitment, with 35 per cent, or 455 posts, reserved for women candidates.
In October, a comprehensive recruitment advertisement is anticipated to appear. Meanwhile, the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) is assiduously restoring 21,391 constable positions, for which it has received a staggering 1,8 million applications. The examinations will take place on October 1, 7, and 15.
The minimum qualification required for the Bihar Police SI Recruitment is a bachelor’s degree. The utmost age limit for applicants in the general category may be capped at 37 years, with age exemptions for reserved categories according to government regulations.
