Due to Assembly elections, the Bihar Police SI Mains Recruitment Exam 2020 for the 2446 constable posts have been postponed. BPSC has announced the new date for the main written exam of SI. The examination scheduled on October 11 will now be held in two shifts on November 29.
Bihar Police Under Service Commission (BPSSC) Chairman Sunil Kumar said that the main examination for 2446 posts of Police Under Inspector, Attendant and Assistant Superintendent Kara was scheduled on 11 October. It has been postponed due to non-availability of examination center due to election work. Main examination was also postponed to 26 April and 23 August in view of the possibility of getting infected through coronavirus. The Commission has advised the candidates to secure the admit card.
Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern
The exam will consists of 2 papers:

There will be negative marking of 0.2 mark for each wrong answer.
The candidates who will qualify in the mains will be called for Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Also, the written examination to be held on October 14 and October 18 has been postponed for 1722 posts of driver constable in Bihar Police Organization and 551 posts of constable in Bihar Home Defense Corps Service cadre. The Chairman of the Central Selection Council (Sepoy Recruitment) KS Dwivedi said on Wednesday that the said examinations have been postponed due to the non-availability of the examination center in view of the Bihar Assembly General Election. The new date of the written examination will soon be given to the candidates through the website of the Board. He said that the admit card for the written examination to be held on October 14 has been released. Candidates will keep him safe. After setting the new date, the candidates will be able to appear in the examination on the basis of this admit card.
