Amid the ongoing seat sharing tussle in National Democratice Alliance (NDA) between the ruling Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party after Lok Janshakti Party decides to exit the alliance, Nitish Kumar’s party has announced first list of 12 candidates for the first phase of polls which is scheduled on October 28.

- Jhajha: Damodar Rawat,
- Suryagarha: Ramanand Mandal
The third NDA ally, the Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP) on Sunday announced it will go alone, citing ideological differences with the JDU.
