In a tragic incident, a gold business man and a property dealer was badly shot by few miscreants near the Habibpur police station bypass on Thursday morning. Vijay Singh, a resident of Mirajnahat district was reportedly involved in the business of land along with his operation of gold shop.
Earlier in the day, a client identified as Punnu Yadav had visited Vijay to have a look of the property sight. During the client meet, the dealer and the party got into a brawl following which, Yadav and few others accompanying him, shot Vijay.
On receiving the information, city DSP of Habibpur police station reached the spot to investigate the matter. According to the police officials, the businessman was reportedly shot with three bullets. In the injured condition, the businessman was admitted to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where he has been referred to Patna after primary treatment.
The injured businessman has accused Punnu Yadav and three or four other persons being involved in the incident.
