Samastipur: A shocking incident has taken place in Kasor village where a 60-year-old senior citizen, Shivnarayan Bhagat lost his life after few customers that came to his shop to buy buy cigarette beat him to death following the delay that Bhagat was taking in providing them with the cigarette.

When Bhagat’s son Nuni reached to save Shivnarayan, the assailants beat him too following which he was taken to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment, while the accused are on the run.

The police has sent the deceased’s body for post-mortem and have registered a case against six, according to a Bhaskar report.

Reportedly, at the time the accused reached Shivnarayan’s shop to buy cigarettes, he was serving tea to another customer and when the delay took place on Shivnarayan’s side in giving cigarettes to the three, they beat him to death.

The family members were not reaching out to the police afraid of the people involved in the incident, but after another case surfaced in the village they went to the police and asked to registered the case.
