In a bizarre case of mass suicide in Bihar’s Rohtas district a mother ate poison with her two daughters in a dispute over watching TV serials. Following the incident one daughter and mother died, however, the doctors saved the life of another daughter.
The incident took place on Sunday in Karhahar, Rohtas district, the case had become a compulsive puzzle for the police but the police has now settled the matter. The Victim family belongs to Laramui village. Rajendra Sah wife Kanti Devi and her two daughters are the victims of the case. According to the family, the three people had poisoned over controversy around watching television serials and changing channels.
Initially, the whole case seemed to be a family dispute, but when the police investigated, the facts were shocking. Sadar ASP Rajesh Kumar said that in the inquiry and investigation, it has been found that both the sisters used to quarrel over watching TV serials. The woman was always upset about this.
Out of disgust, Kanti Devi also took her two daughters to fed them poison and ate it herself, in which Kanti Devi herself and her daughter Saloni Kumari died, while another daughter survived and is been saved by the doctors.
