On January 11, the situation came to a head at the Amarpur bus stand when the woman and Mishra were spotted together. The woman’s husband and her son, who had reportedly been unaware of the relationship until then, arrived at the scene and confronted the couple publicly. When Mishra was attacked physically by his wife and son, the noise attracted the attention of the people around, and a tense scene erupted in the already crowded transportation hub.
