Bihar Weather October 26–30: Bihar is likely to see mostly dry weather on Monday, October 26, but the conditions could change later in the week as a developing weather system over the Bay of Bengal moves towards the eastern coast. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that parts of Bihar will experience a period of rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds from October 27. There is also the potential for higher levels of rainfall towards the end of the month.

On the whole, most areas of Bihar are expected to remain dry. In addition, there are no major weather alerts in place for October 25 and 26. However, the weather may start to change from Tuesday as humidity rises.

Why Could Bihar See Rain?
The developing system over the central-eastern part of the Bay of Bengal is expected to strengthen and move west-north-west towards the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha border area on October 28. This, alongside easterly winds, could mean increased humidity over Bihar and rain throughout the region.
Rain could fall between October 27 and November 1 with light to moderate rain falling in many areas. There is also the potential for isolated heavy to very heavy rain. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (40-50kmph) could occur in some areas, reports said.
Districts to Watch
The following areas are likely to experience:
- October 27: Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in south-western and south-central parts of Bihar.
- October 29: Heavy rainfall could occur in Aurangabad, Bhabua, Gaya and Rohtas.
- October 30: Very heavy rainfall may occur in Buxar, Gopalganj, Siwan and West Champaran. Heavy rainfall could also fall in parts of Darbhanga, East Champaran, Rohtas, Sitamarhi, Aurangabad and Bhabua.
