Birthday special: Five times Hrithik Roshan gave us dance goals with his moves

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has danced his way to 45 this year on January 10 and it’s a great reminder about how grateful we are that this actor decided to come into films and give the budding dancers some iconic dance moves to always look up to.

From moon-walking to breathtaking break dance, Hrithik has done it all. On the occasion of his birthday, we take a look at the most incredible foot-tapping onscreen moments of Hrithik.

Ek Pal Ka Jeena: The song, which propelled Hrithik into the purview of the dance-novice Indian viewers, belonged to his debut film. And the iconic club move is still a hit with fans, even after two decades. If not for him, western dance might not have made its presence felt in Bollywood commercial films at all.

Dhoom: The song saw Hrithik show off some fantastic break dance and fusion moves. The beats, the co-ordination and Hrithik’s signature smoothness made it one of his best numbers ever.

Main Aisa Kyu Hoon: One of the most special dance performances in the history of Indian films, Hrithik used this Lakshyan umber to make B-town take notice of the role dance can really play in a movie, and showed us how to do it. The Hip Hop-infused break dance, the expressions, and the quirk, this number had it all. And the fact that dance guru Prabhu Deva choreographed it only added to the magic.

Bang Bang: Hrithik slayed his Bang Bang dance routine in a way only he can. The understated poise brought out the best aspects of Hrithik’s act. We could watch the video on loop all day.

Fire: Easily one of our favourite Hrithik numbers. Everything worked for the song. His signature moves paired with some jaw-dropping break dancing, the song took dance in a Hindi film to another level. The film might have been a dud, but the song has still got us tapping our feet.
