A BJP member was allegedly murdered by unidentified assailants in Bengaluru on Thursday morning. The incident happened in Anekal, Bengaluru and the deceased leader has been identified as Harish. He was a BJP block SC/ST cell vice-president.
He was attacked by assailants while riding a bike, who attacked him with deadly weapons.
Superintendent of Police Amit Singh, DySP Umesh reached the spot soon after the incident, and a probe is underway.
This is the second murder of dalit BJP leader in the last two months. Earlier, Kithaganhalli Vasu was also murdered in the same region. A BJP councillor, Vasu, was hacked to death by unidentified assailants.
