Guntur: Bhartiya Janta Party Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao’s car hit two women in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh on Friday. The senior BJP leader was sleeping in the backseat when the accident took place. His car hit two women. While one woman died on the spot, another woman was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and her condition was declared stable.
GVL Narasimha Rao tweeted himself, “During the mishap, I was sleeping in the last seat of the car. Later, I stopped at the spot for 45 minutes, until the police came. The injured woman was taken to the hospital and the deceased woman was also taken from another van. I will go to meet both the families and I will try to help them in every way. ‘
The Rajya Sabha member was on his way to Vijayawada from Prakasam district when the two women suddenly tried to cross the National Highway at Kolanukonda village, police said. The car then hit the divider and stopped.
