A massive event, ‘Yediyurappa Abhimanotsava,’ is set to take place in Chitradurga on May 9 to honor the illustrious 50-year political career of veteran BJP leader B S Yediyurappa.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lead the tributes, acknowledging Yediyurappa’s contributions to Karnataka’s political landscape.
State BJP President B Y Vijayendra and Chitradurga MP Govind Karjol revealed that the event will see an attendance of over 10 lakh people. The gathering aims to celebrate Yediyurappa’s enduring commitment to social justice, farmers’ welfare, and the upliftment of the underprivileged.
The occasion will include participation from pontiffs, former chief ministers, and various dignitaries, creating a comprehensive tribute to Yediyurappa’s legacy. The event signifies a historic milestone in Karnataka’s political narrative, with groundwork preparation beginning on April 26.
