Mahavatar Narsimha OTT Release: Makers Say,

Box Office Collection on August 9:It’s been a wild weekend at the box office honestly, you couldn’t script this stuff. Mahavatar Narsimha is just roaring at the box office, no chill at all. On August 9th, the movie basically went up woth rocket speed, with collections shooting up by something like 219%. Pulled in ₹15 crore just on Saturday, which shoves its India net up to ₹126.25 crore after 15 days. Worldwide? ₹150 crore and counting. Not to be dramatic, but it’s officially the biggest animated movie India’s ever seen.

Saiyaara Box Office Collection on August 9

Meanwhile, Saiyaara’s still vibing. It’s got that word-of-mouth magic, plus the songs everyone’s humming at chai stalls. By day 22, it’s racked up ₹310 crore. Sure, things slowed down by the fourth Friday but that emotional punch and killer soundtrack are still pulling people in. Just over ₹6 crore more and it’ll leapfrog Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Not bad for a movie people thought would fizzle.

Son of Sardaar 2 Collection

Now, Son of Sardaar 2 is not exactly breaking records, but it’s hanging in there. About ₹35 crore in its first week, which is respectable. Day nine brought in another ₹4 crore, with about a third of seats filled in the Hindi belt. So yeah, not a flop, not a smash, it’s just kind of chilling in the middle.

Dhadak 2

Dhadak 2, on the other hand needs something to survive on. Released August 1st and still trying to find its groove. The romance isn’t really sparking with audiences, especially with all this heavy competition. Maybe it’ll pick up, but right now, it’s lagging way behind.

August 9th was a tale of four very different movies. Narsimha is out here rewriting the rulebook, Saiyaara’s holding strong, Son of Sardaar 2 is doing its best “steady as she goes” impression, and Dhadak 2 well, it’s there. If anyone ever doubted animation could dominate, this weekend just dunked on that idea.
