BSP leader Mahesh caught watching girls' pictures during Karnataka Assembly; Here's his response when questioned

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA and member of Karnataka Legislative assembly N Mahesh was allegedly found checking out a picture of a girl on his phone during the Assembly session on Monday.

Despite knowing the rule if not carrying phones, Mahesh not only carried his mobile inside the House but also browsed while the session is going on. However, when television channels started airing the visuals of him viewing the photograph, Mahesh admitted his mistake.

Speaking to the reporters, Mahesh said that he was looking for a prospective bride for his son.

“Yes, I took the phone inside. It was a mistake. I will never do it again. But what kind of journalism is this that you are sensationalising everything. As a father, I was looking for alliances for my son,” he said.

Mahesh however, requested the media not to air the pictures of the girl, as it would be an invasion of her privacy for no fault of hers.

This is not the first time when a legislature was caught with phones inside the Assembly session. In 2012, Karnataka state Minister for Cooperation Laxman Savadi was caught sharing porn clip with his colleague CC Patil, the minister for women and child development, while sitting in the state assembly.
