BTS will release their upcoming studio album “Arirang” as their first group album since their members resumed activities after completing their military service. The album will be released on March 20, 2026. The album will have worldwide promotion through its teasers and its world tour which will continue until 2027.
The title references Arirang, a centuries-old Korean song considered a symbol of national identity and cultural unity. The song represents an important intangible cultural heritage of Korea because it exists in multiple regional variations throughout the country. In that sequence, “only a few black people are seen and are behind white individuals.”
