CAT 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta successfully conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on Sunday, November 24. The exam was held in three slots, with the third slot scheduled from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Candidates were advised to arrive at the exam venue according to the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards. They were also instructed to bring a printed copy of their admit card, along with any other required documents, to ensure smooth entry into the exam center.

The CAT 2024 exam consisted of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants). The total exam duration was 120 minutes, with each section allotted 40 minutes. Candidates were required to complete the sections in the given time frame, ensuring they managed their time effectively for each part of the exam.
When will it be released?
Following previous trends, the results for CAT 2024 are expected to be declared by the last week of December 2024 or the first week of January 2025.
IIM Calcutta will soon release the provisional answer keys on its official website. Once available, candidates can review the answer keys and raise objections if they believe any answers are incorrect. The final answer keys will be published after considering the objections. The results will be based on the final answer key.

Based on the results of the CAT 2024 exam, candidates will be selected for admission to various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) across the country for their MBA programs.
