Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education as extended the date for submitting the CBSE School Affiliation application 2020. The revised date for submitting the CBSE School Affiliation application 2020 is now April 30, 2020.
The decision to extend the CBSE Schools Affiliation application deadline has been taken after it received representations from various stakeholders.
Amid pandemic coronavirus outbreak in the country, stakeholders were not able to submit the application and as such the CBSE has extended the window for submitting the School Affiliation Application.
As per the statement released by the Board, the stakeholders can submit the application forms until the mentioned date without any late fee.
The period for applying for affiliation under various categories includes fresh affiliation, upgradation, switch-over from other board or extension of affiliation for the academic session 2021-22 is 31st March by paying the required fee.
According to the statement released by the Board, it received representations from the schools where they mentioned problems faced for submission of the affiliation application within the provided time period amid the nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19.
In order to ensure that various government advisories are fulfilled and acting on the directive of the present COVID-19 situation, the Board’s competent authority has accorded approval for extension of date of submission of CBSE School Affiliation application 2020 under various categories after careful consideration, read the statement.
