CDAC C-CAT 2019: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) has begun the admissions to postgraduate diploma course through an online registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT). Qualified and interested aspirants can apply till November 27 by visiting the official site, cdac.in.
The C-CAT I exam has been scheduled for December 8, 2019, and the C-CAT II has been scheduled for December 15, 2019.
The result will be declared on December 27, 2019. According to the ranks, online selection of courses and centres and the counselling process will commence from December 28, 2019, and will end on January 5, 2020. The seat will be allotted on January 9, 2020.
Note: Candidates who clear the exam will have to book a seat by paying the fee or will have to wait for the next list. The vacant seats left in the first list will be moved in the next list.
The classes will begin from February 18, 2020.
Exam pattern
The C-CAT has three parts (Section A, Section B, Section C), each of which lasts for one hour. Candidates can take one or all three exams depending on the course applied.
C-CAT will have 50 objective types of questions. There will be four choices for each question. For each correct answer, the candidate will receive 3 marks, and the wrong attempt will be deducted 1 mark. Per section is of 150 marks.
