Bilaspur: An intoxicated constable got his foot injured after a 10 tyred-truck rolled over it. The constable kept singing in the state of intoxication.

The incident occurred at Vyapar Vihar of the district where the constable working at the civil lines police station was driving his bike in drunkenness after which he lost balance and got smashed to a truck with his feet getting mowed by the truck.

The constable was so intoxicated that having gone through such an accident, even after the stretcher reached the scene he continued singing.

He is undergoing treatment at the hospital and according to reports he life is out of danger but could have to lose his leg.

Earlier in another horrific accident, seven persons, including six school students, were killed when a bus skidded off the road and rolled into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district. The victims, in the age group of 10 years, were going to Adarsh Vidya Niketan in Dadahu town when the accident occurred near Renukaji, a known Hindu shrine about 40 km from district headquarters Nahan and 150 km from the state capital.
