CLAT 2025 Revised Result: The Consortium of NLUs will release the revised CLAT 2025 result today, May 16, 2025, following a Supreme Court order. Along with the updated scores, the counselling schedule and scorecards will also be released. Students had been waiting for this outcome after legal issues affected the exam process.

On May 7, the Supreme Court reviewed six questions from the CLAT paper. Three were removed, and one answer was changed. For question 77, both the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court agreed that option B was correct, so students who picked it will now receive marks. In question 56, the Supreme Court said both C and D were valid answers, and students choosing either will get marks without any negative marking. These changes could shift ranks and impact college allotments significantly.

CLAT PG Case Hearing on May 26

The CLAT PG 2025 result is also facing legal challenges. Three petitions have been filed in the Delhi High Court related to the CLAT PG exam. The hearing has already been postponed two times, and now it is scheduled for May 26, 2025. At this point, it’s still not clear if this matter will go to the Supreme Court too like the UG exam. So PG students are still waiting to know what’s going to happen with their results.

The Delhi High Court had also earlier given a decision about the CLAT UG exam, and the Supreme Court agreed with only one question from that judgment. That question is number 5 in the main question booklet, and it remains unchanged in the updated answer key.

Over 80,000 Students Took CLAT 2025 Exam

This year, CLAT 2025 saw a big jump in the number of students appearing for the exam. Around 80,000 candidates appeared, which is a lot more compared to the previous year. The attendance rate was also very high at 96.33%. With so many students involved and important changes in the answer key, this updated result is going to matter a lot. Everyone is now watching closely to see how ranks and college chances shift after these changes.

New Chief Justice May Give it more Importance

Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, who was one of the judges handling the CLAT 2025 case in the Supreme Court, has now become the 52nd Chief Justice of India. He took over the position from Justice Sanjiv Khanna. His involvement in the CLAT case adds even more importance to his new role.
