Cocktail 2 Day 1 Box Office Collection Worldwide: Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, has opened in cinemas with a promising start at the worldwide box office. Riding on strong advance bookings and high pre-release buzz, the romantic drama has attracted audiences across major metro cities on its opening day.
According to trade estimates, Cocktail 2 has been produced on an estimated budget of around ₹150 crore, including production costs and print & advertising (P&A). The makers have reportedly recovered a significant portion of the investment through digital, satellite and music rights before release.

The film witnessed strong occupancy in multiplexes across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Pune, while evening shows recorded a noticeable jump compared to the morning. Final figures may change once all shows are reported.
Cocktail 2 Overseas Collection
The film has also recorded a decent response in overseas markets including the UAE, North America, the UK and Australia. Overseas gross were estimated around ₹3 crore.
Advance bookings overseas were encouraging, particularly in markets with a large Indian audience.

Strong Advance Booking
Already before its release, Cocktail 2 was gaining good steam with advance bookings. The trade also reports reveal that it has also crossed the mark of 8.83 crore in advance booking gross. This turns out to be among the better Bollywood openings for 2026.
While Cocktail 2 is estimated to earn around ₹10–11 crore (India net) on its opening day, the original Cocktail (2012) collected approximately ₹11 crore (India net) on Day 1. This means Cocktail 2 is opening at a level similar to its predecessor, despite releasing 14 years later with higher ticket prices and inflation.
Can Cocktail 2 Hold Over The Weekend?
With the opening now looking so good, it seems Cocktail 2 has indeed had a fantastic start in theatres. It will only be later after this over the weekend occupancy if it really pulls off big numbers. Cocktail 2 was reportedly made on a budget of 125 crore. It would be interesting to see if it manages to cross that benchmark.
