In a recent development, comedian Kunal Kamra has sent a legal notice to the Indigo airline for revoking his 6 months suspension which the airline has laid on him after the controversy which happened on air with Arnab Goswami.

Apart from this, he also seeks an unconditional apology from Indigo in all leading newspapers as well as electronic media and on all of the social media platforms currently being operated by the Airline.

Furthermore, the comedian in his notice seeks compensation of Rs. 25,00,000/- on account of the mental pain and agony suffered as well as losses incurred on account of cancellation of his scheduled shows and programmes in India as well as abroad on account of the ban.

For the uninitiated, Kunal Kamra vs Arnab Goswami inflight spat has been one of the most talked-about events that happened in the last few days.

The standup comedian, who is known for his strong views on the establishment’s flaws, posted a video where he was seen heckling the Republic editor in the same manner how Goswami handles his news sessions.

After IndiGo’s six-month ban on Kamra, Air India, SpiceJet and GoAir also placed a ban on the comedian, following the Minister’s tweet.
