Congress leader DK Shivakumar to pacify rebellion in Telangana

Ahead of Telangana elections, Congress party is leaving no stone unturned and on Thursday the grand old party deployed ace leader DK Shivakumar to pacify the rebel leaders of Telangana. DK Shivakumar have been tasked with ensuring that rebellions do not create any embarrassment for the party in the state.

According to sources, Congress constituted three members committee headed by Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, DK Shivakumar and Puducherry health minister Malladi Krishna Rao to manage the rebels. Over 100 rebels have shown their displeased towards the party, after being denied poll ticket in Telangana.

Shivakumar on Thursday met several rebel leaders of Warangal and Serilingampally segments. Shivakumar’s job is to make sure that the rebel leaders do not campaign against party’s contestants or create any controversy against Congress, sources claimed.
