The Congress has stepped up its criticism of the government regarding the NEET exam issue, particularly questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the matter. The party insists that only a Supreme Court-monitored forensic probe can secure the future of millions of young students.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed that the Modi administration is attempting to cover up the NEET scam through the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the National Testing Agency (NTA). Kharge pointed out discrepancies, including the arrest of 13 people in Bihar for a paper leak and the exposure of significant transactions linked to the cheating racket.

At a press conference, Congress’s Pawan Khera dubbed the issue ”Vyapam 2.0” and criticized the Modi government for allegedly inflating scores and rigging the examination process to deprive deserving students of government admissions. Khera emphasized the need for a transparent investigation to restore faith in the examination system.
