Srinagar, Oct 6 (IANS) A police constable, who was injured in a terrorist attack on a BJP worker in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening, has succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
Earlier, terrorists attacked a BJP worker who escaped unhurt, but one of his personal security officers (PSO) was injured.
After the PSOs guarding the BJP worker retaliated, one unidentified terrorist was killed on the spot.
The PSO, who was identified as Mohammad Altaf, was injured in the exchange of fire and later succumbed to his injuries.
