Coronavirus Outbreak: ICSE board cancels 10th and 12th board exams

A press release issued by the ICSE boards states that the exams have been postponed due to the rapid outbreak of COVID19

In view of the increasing number of casualties of COVID19, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) postpones class 10th and 12th exams that were scheduled to be conducted from 19th March to 31st March 2020.

A press release issued by the ICSE boards states that the exams have been postponed due to the rapid outbreak of COVID19.

The press release further states that “In view of the Novel Coronavirus spreading across the country and with much uncertainty and speculation in the air, the Council in the interest of the health and well being of the students and teaching community has decided to postpone all ICSE and ISC year 2020 examinations scheduled to be conducted between the period of 19th March 2020 to 31st March 2020

A similar sort of move was also made by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development which ordered on March 19 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and all educational institutions to postpone ongoing exams till 31 March amid ongoing novel coronavirus spread. This includes class 10, class 12 board examinations.

Moreover, the ministry also added that all the evaluation work should get rescheduled after 31 March. This includes all evaluation work of CBSE, NIOS, University Exams.
