Coronavirus in Odisha: Single-day high of 1,602 COVID cases

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bacchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai, said in a statement today.

Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan who were on Saturday admitted to a city hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 have undergone rapid antigen testing, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Saturday. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

The Delhi government has written to the Centre, requesting it to initiate rapid-antigen testing for people falling in high-risk groups in central health facilities in the city. High risk group includes people aged above 60 or having comorbid conditions.
