The coronavirus outbreak has been widely spread and the pandemic virus is increasing with each passing day. With the positive cases rising, the recent one to come under the scanner is Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor.
In a recent, Kanika has been tested positive after she recently returned from London and landed in Lucknow. It is said that Kanika hid that she got the infections and reached her apartment in the city.
Later, the singer even hosted a part for 100-200 people. The bash was said to be attended by many bureaucrats, political people and celebrities.
Present at the event, BJP MP Dushyant Singh will reportedly be tested for coronavirus as he came in contact with her. But before that, the BJP MP who came along with her mother has self-quarantined themselves to avoid any spread of the virus.
Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhra Raje took to Twitter to announce it. In a tweet, she wrote, “While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest. As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.”

For the uninitiated, Medical officials are now unsure how to quarantine the entire building where the singer stayed and also subject the guests at the party to tests. “Some people have started approaching us for tests but we still do not know how to make the VIPs undergo tests,” said a doctor at the KGMU.
