CTET 2026 Paper 1, Paper 2 Result Date:The CBSE CTET Result 2026 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be announced soon on official website ctet.nic.in. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) serves as a key examination which the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts to determine which candidates can teach students from Classes I to VIII across all schools in India.

CTET 2026 Paper 1, Paper 2 Result Date

CTET February 2026 result will probably get declared during the fourth week of March 2026 although the board has not yet confirmed the specific date.

The exam took place on February 7 and 8, 2026 while selected centres held a re-examination on March 1. The provisional answer key arrived on March 12 while the objection window reached its end on March 15. The CBSE exam results generally get announced by the board within 4 to 6 weeks after the exam date which means that results should come out between late March and early April.

This year over 25 lakh candidates took the exam which makes this session one of the largest CTET sessions in history.

1. Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the ‘CTET Result 2026’ link on the homepage.

3. Enter your Roll Number and click on ‘Submit’.

4. The CTET scorecard will appear on the screen.

5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

Paper 1 & Paper 2

CTET consists of two papers:

  • Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach Classes I to V
  • Paper 2: For candidates aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII

Candidates who qualify Paper 1 become eligible for primary teaching roles while those clearing Paper 2 qualify for upper primary positions.

Qualifying Marks and Cut-Off Criteria

General category candidates must score 60% (90 out of 150). SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get a relaxation of 5% which means they need to score 55% (82 marks) to pass. The CTET certificate now offers candidates lifetime validity which enables them to use their qualification throughout their professional career.

What After CTET Result 2026?

After qualifying CTET 2026, candidates can download their eligibility certificate. They can apply for teaching jobs in central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other institutions
