The body of a girl was found under unexplained circumstances on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad on Monday morning, as per police reports. The body is identified as Kavya Sree, 22, a native of Karnataka who was working as a security employee in a company in IT hub Hitec City, was found with bleeding injuries on the head. Kavya was a resident of Tejaswini Nagar in Attapur area of Hyderabad city. PVNR Expressway connects the city to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
Her hand bag, footwear, mobile phone and identity card were found near the body, leading to speculations that it was not a mere thievery.
“A hit and run case has been registered. But we are still investigating in the case,” said Mohammad Javed, inspector of Lunger House police station.
The body was shifted to government-run Osmania Hospital for autopsy.
