Under mysterious circumstances, actress Kritika Choudhary was found dead at her residence in Andheri on Monday. An investigating official said that the police suspect it to be a case of murder.
The incident came to light at around 3:45 pm when Kritika’s neighbours complained of foul smell coming from her flat and informed the police.
The Amboli police rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the information. They broke open the door which was locked from outside for the last three-four days, an official quoted.
They found a decomposed body of a woman, who was later identified as Kritika, he added.
An Accidental Death Report (ADR) was initially registered by the Amboli police. The police are saying that she was murdered by unidentified person(s).
The actress was a resident of Bhairavnath Society in Char Bungalow area in Andheri West. She had her apartment on the fifth floor of the building.
Kritika was originally from Haridwar and had worked in Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’. She had also worked in some TV serials.
